Kangaroo "NO plastic bags" T-shirt

This t-shirt incorporates a kangaroo and the idea of reduce, reuse and recycle, onto a t-shirt that promotes environmental benefit through the lessened use of plastic bags. One would not normally think to use a kangaroo as an example. Using animals against environmentally issues is a way that the creators send the message to consumers that their hyper-consumerism is also harmful to living animals. The kangaroo is presented as an animal who honours the three R's. It has it's hands in the pocket where there is a recycling logo. The logo itself has three arrows pointing in the same direction, which can be assumed to resemble the idea of reducing, reusing, and recycling. The t-shirt is in a sea foam green colour, appealing to more young and hip consumers, as well as still fitting into the "green" theme that is associated with being environmentally friendly and environmentally aware. The picture on the t-shirt looks as if it is hand drawn, with the visible textures, shading, and colour of pencil sketching. The speech bubble that says "NO plastic bags", insists that the kangaroo is speaking. We all know that kangaroos cannot talk, so the idea might add a little bit of lightheartedness and humour. The speech bubble makes reference to graphic novels, many of which use them to communicate through character dialogue. Lastly, the cut of the t-shirt is a women's cut, implying that it is geared towards women. Also, this reveals that females would probably find the t-shirt more wearable perhaps because of a woman's motherly nature, and the notion that only women can look normal wearing a t-shirt with an adorable kangaroo in the center.
