Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is featured on the cover of the Time Magazine's Asia Edition. The same level with the former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson over 20 years ago.The Time Magazine title "The Great Hope" the Filipino's appearance on the cover is historic for any sports athlete.

In the history of boxing, only 11 boxers managed to be featured on the cover of TIME since 1920's. They are Mike Tyson in 1988, Oscar de la Hoya, Roy Jones, Jr., Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran, Julio Cesar Chavez, and Muhammad Ali.
