An all star cast. This movie started what came to be known as the disaster film genre. Airport was highly successful at the box office. This movie went on to have three more sequels. The story is about a suicidal bomber who plots to blow up a Boeing 707 in flight. Each cast member had perfect amount of screen time and the script worked for each one.
