Memorable and brilliant. This movie did scare you especially for its time. The story is about A family's home which is haunted by ghosts. The story is amazing and the movie itself is awesome, So many scary scenes that make you think, can this actually happen. The most memorable line is spoken by Carol Anne, " They're Here" Just the way it was said was creepy. The movie was produced by Steven Spielberg and the screenplay was written by him as well. I recommend this movie a lot. Its scary and good. The franchise of films is often said to be cursed... Called The Poltergeist Curse.
