Daniel Day-Lewis was great in this movie, He made this movie what it is. The movie is a bout a silver miner-turned-oilman on a ruthless quest for wealth during Southern California's oil boom of the late 19th and early 20th century. Paul Thomas Anderson did a great job directing this movie and the opening scene is one of the best. The way the movie ends is also fantastic. All around you will enjoy this movie.
