BACK TO THE FUTURE PART II (1989)

Picking right up after the first one, Doc comes to Marty from the future and says he must help him because something has to be done about Marty's kids. In the beginning of the film the line "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads" is the most memorable along with a few others. From the start Marty gets into trouble by helping his son and then he buys a sports almanac which predicts the outcome of every major sporting event for 50 years (1950-2000). The Old Biff from the future gets his hands on it and gives it to a younger version of himself in 1955. This is where the alternate 1985 begins, in which Biff is a billionaire and is married to Lorraine.

Marty learns that he must do something and has to go back to the year 1955 from stopping the old biff in giving himself the sports almanac to a younger version of himself. Everything unravels in the end and the almanac is destroyed and everything is back to normal. In the end Lightning strikes the Delorean and sends Doc to the year 1885.

Now I personally love Part II because it doesn't stay in one time period as it jumps from 1985 to 2015 back to A1985 and then back to 1955. Seeing every cast member play at least two parts in different time periods is great as it adds more to the story. Now how can we forget the famed HOVERBOARD which was in high demand after this movie came out, but proven that it was false and not real. Zemeckis returns to direct this amazing sequel and the story once again is brilliant and well written, everything is perfect about this sequel and nothing is wrong at all no matter how you look at it.

Back to the Future Part II gets 9.5/10 stars
