BATMAN FOREVER (1995)

What the hell happened here. Batman Forever looked like a crayola movie, so much color and not much character build up at all. This time around Val Kilmer takes over as the Bat, as he teams up with Robin to go up against Two-Face played by Tommy Lee Jones and The Riddler played by Jim Carrey. Now i have to say Carey did a hell of a job in this movie and was my favorite actor in this. Oh and Ill throw in there Nicole Kidman who is a love interest for Bruce Wayne/Batman. I like this movie because it reminds me a little of the 1966 version with the one liners and phony come backs, but it could of been better. Here is what Batman 3 was going to be. So WB wanted to go in a different direction with this and have Burton on as Producer, fair enough. No he should of stayed as director. The ORIGINAL plan for BATMAN 3 if Burton directed was this, Batman was gonna go up against The Riddler and Man-Bat (Yes Man-Bat). The role of The Riddler was suppose to be played by Robin Williams and Michael Keaton was to return for a third outing as Batman, Rene Russo was cast as Chase Meridian and Billy Dee Williams who played Harvey Dent in the 1989 Batman was suppose to become Two-Face. Well WB didn't like were things were going, so they threw that idea away and went a total 360 and came up with Batman Forever.

Batman Forever gets 8/10 stars
