New Line released the sequel A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge a year later, and although it is inferior to the original, it isn't as bad as many make out and does have some great moments. The story involves the Walsh family, who have moved into the house on Elm Street previously occupied by Nancy. Robert Englund gives probably his best performance as Freddy, being more twisted and evil than in any other 'Nightmare... Freddy’s Revenge’ is a good movie and not really deserving of the backlash it has generated over the years.
