This has t be the worst sequel ever. Sandra Bullock returns as Annie Porter from the first movie, but with a new boyfriend played by Jason Patric. This time Annie and her new boyfriend Alex must stop a computer hacker played by Willem Dafoe in stopping the ship from hitting a oil tanker. That's it, that is the whole movie right there. There is little action and nothing else. Willem Dafoe was the only good thing about this movie. The pun of the movies title Cruise Control played along really bad since the setting was on a cruise. Jan De Bont did return to direct but it wasn't his best work.
