ALL THE KING'S MEN (1949)

All The King's Men is the story of the rise of politician Willie Stark (Broderick Crawford) from a rural county seat to the governor's mansion. This is a brilliant well made film based on the novel of the same name, Even though it doesn't follow the novel it is quite good. A remake was done in 2006 starring Sean Penn but wasn't well received as this one.

All The King's Men gets 8.5/10 stars
