THE MALTESE FALCON (1941)

This is John Huston's directorial debut. Let me tell you what a debut it was, The stroy centers on a San Francisco private detective (Humphrey Bogart) dealings with three adventurers who compete to obtain a jewel-encrusted statuette of a falcon. The story is one of the best and the acting is fantastic. This movie is a film noir and has great lighting and camera movement. The ending of this movie will catch you by surprise, you will not see it coming. It is one of the best endings to a film i have seen.

The Maltese Falcon gets 10/10 stars
