Oliver Stone did a great job directing this movie. Tom Cruise was amazing, he was also nominated for Best Actor. Which he should of won. The story tells of Vietnam War veteran Ron Kovic. The movie is an autobiography of his life. It is an intense movie and is PART ONE of Oliver Stone's Vietnam War films followed by Platoon and Heaven and Earth.
Born on the fourth of July gets 8/10 stars
