Steven Spielberg returns to the directing chair fro his second go around. This sequel is loosely based on the novel of the same name once again by Michael Crichton. The film centers on the island of Isla Sorna, an auxiliary site for the main Jurassic Park island, where dinosaurs have taken over and live in the wild and they can do what they want. Ian Malcolm character played by (Jeff Goldblum) leads a team to document the dinosaurs in their native habitat. This sequel had more intense moments and tried to out due the first one. The sequel was okay but not great.
The Lost World gets 8/10 stars
