Jack Nicholson is brilliant in this role. He plays Melvin a misanthropic, obsessive-compulsive novelist. Helen Hunt plays a single mother. Both actors won an OSCAR for their roles in this movie. The story is perfect and is funny, not to much and not to little, its just right. The movie itself is entertaining and very good. I recommend this movie if you want to laugh and feel good.
