So much excitement for all Japanese animation fans who love anime and manga, thanks to the presence of the pilots Mecha (Evangelion) in protecting the world. This is the second of four films released in the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy based on the original nime series Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The film opens with a scene of tremendous battles between pilots Evangelion, Mari Makinami (Maaya Sakamoto) against the Third Angel. Makinami successfully defeated the Third Angel by destroying robot driven, Unit-05. Before exploding, Makinami had pressed the eject button to save themselves.
After the fight, the audience are invited to get to know one by one character of this movie. In other words, Evangelion 2.0 is not just an animation that contains only battle and battle. The fact that the pilots still trained are still youth, romance and friendship between them, presented in attractive way, so that's not boring.
Shinji Ikari (Megumi Ogata), Asuka (Yuko Miyamura), Misato (Kotono Mitsuishi) and Mikanimi, filled their daily life like other normal teenagers. The difference is, they are the pilot of Evangelion, which must be ready at any moment when it comes up call to deal with evil robots.
In this film, the audiences will be presented a wide range of Evangelion, including Mark.06, which is the latest Evangelion. Understandably, Hideako Anno has prepared four feature films based on the Rebuild of Evangelion anime comic series Neon Genesis Evangelion. The second series assessed by Japan and United States people as a much better animated movie than the first series.
