The Hellcats comedy drama series stars Alyson Michalka, Ashley Tisdale, Robbie Jones, Heather Hemmens and Matt Barr. It was created by Kevin Murphy based on on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick.

Hellcats Season 1 Episode 1 Plot

The story of Hellcats revolves around Marti Perkins, a pre-law student at the Lancer University. Without knowing her scholarship has been revoked. Out of desperation to find another way to get back her scholarship she tried to audition for a cheer squad member.

The Hellcats Season 1 Episode 1 is entitled "A World Full of Strangers", directed by Allan Arkush and episode written by Kevin Murphy.
