Now I have to say this was a solid remake. Darker and more scare than the original 1979 version. Some elements from the book were added in were good. Ryan Reynolds played a great role and really made it work. Very good remake and stood true to the original story and movie.
The Amityville Horror (2005) Remake gets 8/10 stars
