This was a pretty decent remake of a horror film. I liked how Takashi Shimizu the director of the Japanese version also directed the American remake. Some elements are the same. The same actors are used for the girl and the boy. Also the story is told in a non-linear manner. Very good remake.
The Grudge (2004) American Remake gets 9/10 stars
